Initial ideation focused on coming up with new forms to replace “the bottle.” Inspiration was drawn from various perfume bottles, Japanese folded containers, and other examples of interesting packaging. Combining aesthetics with the functional aspects of use proved to be a difficult task. Ergonomics play a large role in ease of use and contradict aesthetics, as well as the way that information is displayed. Other important aspects included dosage, child safety, and storage.
